  4. Cook the Risotto: Begin adding the warm broth one ladle at a time, stirring frequently. Wait until the liquid is mostly absorbed before adding more broth. Continue this process for about 15 minutes, until the rice is creamy and tender.
  5. Add Mushrooms: While the risotto is cooking, heat a separate pan over medium heat and sauté the sliced mushrooms until golden brown. Stir the cooked mushrooms into the risotto.
  6. Finish with Cheese: Remove the risotto from heat and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
